"This review is a bit difficult to write. There were no communications with host, we essentially arrived at the remote property with no instructions and found the premises unlocked and we just made ourselves at home, after re-checking several times we were at the correct spot. For context, we traveled here in September - which is off season! Nearest grocery store was a 40min drive - we met our host along the winding road to the store - he greeted us with fresh eggs! Very nice person. If you like...

Top Brinje Hotel Reviews

Plitvice Falls Cottage

8/10 Good

"This hotel is a great location if you are going to visit the crazy bust Plitvice Lakes park. It is about a 16 minute walk to Gate 3. The check in staff were very helpful with assisting us to buy online tickets from the correct website. A review of the best way to optimize our time in the park was also provided. The room had a comfortable bed but there was a slanted ceiling above the bed so I was not able to sit up comfortably to read in the bed. The bathroom in room 3 is large with a walk in shower. The room is quiet with lots of screened windows to open up if you like airflow. There is a farm next door and the roosters start to crow at 4:50. The wifi was strong throughout our visit. We did not eat at the restaurant because we brought our own picnic style supper. I would rate our stay as 4/5 as there was nothing really outstanding nor above expected. It was comfortable and clean."

Hotel Mirjana & Rastoke

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is very conveniently located, about 30 minutes from Plitvice Lakes park. It is clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant was open for all 3 meals. Paid breakfast buffet was very nice. View from the room was trees and grass and vegetation. Easy parking."

Plitvica Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Plitvica Lodge is located steps from the national part Plitvica lakes. You go on foot to the part entrance about 10 minutes. Getting there is by car, parking is free, drive cautiously, roads are very narrow. Lodge is in the Alpine lodges style, wooden houses, room was very comfortable and big. Restaurant served breakfast and dinner, Nice simple local food. God wines. We are happy with out stay."

Plitvice Lakes VILLA PRICA

10/10 Excellent

"Zoran and his family were excellent hosts! helpful with every inquiry and always prepared to help. The villa is a 10min walk from entrance number 3 to the Lakes (near a boat stop), which makes their location ideal to stay! The breakfast is amazing and the dinner options are delightful and fair; no need to drive your car anywhere once you reach the villa. Would recommend to anyone."

Elements Camp Selce

10/10 Excellent

"If you are exploring coastal Croatia, look no further. We have travelled to the country's most famous destinations multiple times, but we discovered this exceptional property entirely by chance—and it far outshines the rest. It is a genuine Croatian treasure, boasting beautiful natural surroundings, excellent amenities, crystal-clear waters, and wonderful places to eat and unwind. It has everything needed to make a vacation truly unforgettable. Furthermore, it avoids the inflated pricing of alternative coastal spots, maintaining an outstanding balance between price and benefit. We are already planning our next stay and cannot recommend this spectacular property highly enough."
