"Enjoyed staying at this accommodation. The Hotel was very clean and tidy and the landlord was very friendly. Was a little disappointed that there was no breakfast available as advertised with Hotels.com. Was very close to a few shops and cafes. The Cookhouse restaurant was only across the road as was a local pub. Only took a ten minute walk to the town centre and harbour. The premises are up for sale so don't know what it will be like with the new owners, hopefully on the same par."

"Monarch has a good location, decor a bit dated but spotlessly clean, good bed, linen and towels very clean. Good breakfast, and they did gluten free for me which was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. "
