"The pub is set in a beautiful village and is old and quaint. It has s very close to Ham Hill Country park. It has a large bar area with lots of unique table spots to relax in. There is also a garden which I didn't use but looked nice from the window in my room. There is a campsite which is well appointed and great for a campervan stopover which is what I originally planned to do. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The menu and specials offered a wide range of food and all of our party...

"We needed somewhere to stay with our dog and this limits your choices. However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again. Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs...

"Nice place to stay, very clean and a lovely area."

"Easy check in, clean and very close to the airport."

"The room was spectacular, but the breakfast - absolutely delicious! Only a 10 minute drive to the main town of Glastonbury. This gem is a lovely place to stay."

"Staff only on site between 9&5. Good luck if you arrive early or late. Room did not have drinkable water. Had to go to first floor for drinking water Bathroom had not a single hook for towels or toiletries"
