"We were fortunate to stay at Mullions 51 on the recent Bank Holiday Monday. In the evening the local folk group entertained us with their singing and guitar playing, whilst we had dinner in the restaurant. They play every fortnight on a Monday and I feel Mullions 51 would do well to include a set meal on their menu to accompany their visits, and encourage people to stay. "Cara was very organized and phoned in advance to check the number of beds to be made up for our stay and also sent some details of local pubs and restaurants nearby, so we could arrange an evening meal. The room was much bigger than expected, with a very comfortable king size bed, and a sofa-bed in the room for additional guests. The kitchenette had a small fridge with juice, water and fresh milk, and a choice of cereal was provided. There was tea and coffee as well as a kettle and toaster....

"Nice location right on the sea front with the benefit of a traditional pub for drinks and dinner. friendly staff, and the room was small but had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Generally comfy hover we found the pillows a bit lumpy and the room was warm but being in the ground floor and easily accessed we didn’t want to leave the window open but otherwise a good stay and the breakfast is good. "

"The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. "Unlike any b&b we have stayed at before and the outside staircase to our room was a bit unnerving for us older folks. The rooms were clean and tidy and the shower was simple to operate. We had breakfast in the separate attached Indian restaurant which was beautifully laid out with linen taken clothes.
