"Clean well laid out studio type apt. Had a washer dryer. A couple minutes away from the Maquarie Park Train station (20 minutes to downtown) and a 10-15 minute walk to the Shopping Center. Breakfast was abit on the expensive side and they lagged on refilling food and juice occasionally. You have a full fridge so I bought most of my own food. Would absolutely come back."

"We stayed for 4 nights. Prior to arrival we were provided with an access code for a safe located outside the front door to the premises. We arrived around 7 pm (it was dark) and, unfortunately, there was no key in the safe. There was a sign outside the front door providing a mobile number to ring in case of emergency, but there was no response when I both rang and messaged the number. After about 30 minutes the proprietor came out from inside the premises with a key and let us in. She explained that the previous guest had been injured in a car accident and had not been able to vacate the room until 5.00 pm, meaning that the room had not been ready due to the need to clean it. No issues with this explantation, but we were annoyed that there had been no such advice in the safe, a message had not been sent to us via Expedia and, most significantly, there was no response from the emergency number. In relation to the property itself, it was comfortable enough. We had a private bathroom which was quite small. There is a kitchen, but you are not allowed to cook in it - but can heat food in a microwave and there is a fridge in both the kitchen and your room. This option is better suited for people with a car, as the walk from Macquarie Park metro is about 15-20 minutes which would be challenging if you had large luggage or walking difficulties, That said, there is a laneway leading to Epping Road nearby where there is a bus stop. Overall a satisfactory stay."

"Great apartment to come back to in the evenings. Very close to the Westfield Hornsby mall which I quite enjoyed exploring and getting things from. The mall is connected to the train station which was very convenient as most of my days were spent in the CBD of Sydney. You truly don’t need to rent a car if you can navigate the efficient transit system of Sydney and surrounding areas. Chris was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. If you’re looking for an affordable accommodation to explore Sydney, I would highly recommend the Hornsby Furnished Apartments."
