Hotels are surprisingly expensive in the Norwalk / Stamford area so shopping for a deal is critical. At this price point through Expedia breakfast was NOT included, so a hotel that includes breakfast may be a better value. "1: The rooms do not have a mattress for a bed. They use a futon pad on a platform. These are not only very firm but extremely uncomfortable. I had 3 of the worst nights of sleep in my life, and this was a major contributing factor. "The Marriott is such a pretty little hotel out of the way in a nice location in Trumbull, CT. The rooms are very clean with comfy beds. "The room was very spacious and appeared clean. However, when we pulled back the bed covers, the sheets were grossly soiled and obviously had not been changed. The front desk staff seemed unconcerned and offered us a clean set of sheets to change ourselves, but made no apology or offer to change rooms. Customer service training seemed to be lacking for the front desk staff. Breakfast had the standard options."

"We booked last minute… our room was definitely out dated and the hall way had a smell… there was an air purifier in the hall way trying to mitigate the odor. Our room was spacious, but old. It seemed like the other rooms were renovated but ours was not, it did not match the pop. There were no towels for the pool. The breakfast was good. My kids really liked the eggs. It was not what we are used to but we were literally passing through on a road trip."
