"Con: Room was so tight on space, said it was remodeled but rusty electrical plug boxes, cracked sink, etc No ice machine - have to request ice from the desk and they give it out sparingly in a pre- made bag. The office closes at 10 pm and after that you can't get anything. There was jumping/thumping in room above which I mentioned to the office. It continued. Tv was hard to work as it kept going to wrong input. Requires a $50 deposit even though I had already pre-paid for the room through...

"Amazing property right on Division. We were in town to see a show at the Tomorrow Theatre across the street so location was 10/10. Easy access to the house/room and the continental breakfast spread was impressive. Would and will book again the next time we stay the night in Portland."

"The lobby, bar, and other common areas are very nice and clean. The rooms have everything that you need in them. And the elevators are super efficient and fast even when it felt like a lot of people were going up and down. If you do self parking, it is just around the corner maybe a 50 yd walk. Just keep that in mind."

"While I wanted to love this place because I love a historic hotel and the staff were beyond kind and thorough, the age and lack of maintenance became deterrents rather than charming. A smell of age, and not in a good way, permeates the property. Inside the room, things are dirty and worn down. The chair was covered with a myriad of stains and some kind of physical substance (perhaps food?). The bathroom grout, floor boards, and fixtures all needed attention. And, unfortunately, the smell...

"Room was very spacious and clean, staff were nice, the pool is nice but it’s too humid to the point me and my guests couldn’t stay in there longer than 10 minutes, the view in the suite was very pretty, it has good lighting all around and a nice little kitchen that comes with everything you would need to cook a meal, would for sure come back and get this same room, one of the only hotels with a suite that is worth the price!"
