"Old beatiful hotel in urgent need of a rescue. Hotel tried to down grade the 2nd room i paid for. From a Delux Double room to a Studio.Lucky i saw the attempt when booking in? Disapointing a Hotel would do this and when the client sees it,blames the computer. Aircon in Room 227 did not work and was given a 2 bar heater that only made the slightest difference since the temperature dropped below 10 degrees celsius and there's snow on the mountains. Hot water in both rooms was just above room...

"Upon arrival we realized this is not a farm but a little small holding. All units less than 15 feet from each other. A Large Barn is also right opposite the cottages where workers are staying. Drawers in kitchen not in good condition, small stove in a terrible condition. Dead ants in the cupboard. The Sunday morning the workers who stay in the barn opposite the cottages were painting and playing terrible and very loud music. This was not a nice Sunday morning on a farm. "It was a wonderful stay. Bed was so comfortable. I was disappointed with not enough milk for coffee. And the tv channels were pretty poor. The signal was even abit blurry so tv quality I would say was bad and channel selection. But those would be my only two complaints."

"Absolutely spectacular — our favorite stay in South Africa! This has been by far the most spectacular place we stayed during our trip to South Africa. The customer service was incredible — every member of the team at Boschendal Farms made us feel so welcome. Our kids loved the day camps at the Tree House. Andrea, the kids’ club director, is phenomenal. Our children couldn’t wait to go back each day! She taught them about farming, composting, how to pick fruit, and even led them on hikes. They had cooking lessons, horse riding, and so many hands-on experiences. We couldn’t have asked for a better family experience. Huge thanks to the entire Boschendal team — you made this unforgettable!"
