"Mostly very good. However on last day there was an incident with an open fire left unattended on an adjacent vacant block. High winds were expected. Reported to the property managers who basically said if you feel threatened vacate!!! And call TAZ Fire. We ended up extinguishing it ourselves. Expected more practical help from the PM or a call from the Owners."

"The view was lovely and the room was spacious but the mattress was terrible and the shower is barely big enough for a child. Our backs was sore after our stay, it put a real dampener on our trip and the shower felt like we were trapped in a cupboard."

"This accommodation was one of the best during our 21 days in Tassie. The kitchenette was a life saver when it came to being able to prepare a few low cost meals. Great location and owners easy to work with. Don't miss going up to the whalers lookout, the highlite of the area. The wine/liquor tasting room is a wonderful 3 minute walk away. "

"Our stay at Whale watcher was very disappointing. Although the view is amazing the property is expensive and lacking essentials. We had no coffee or milk. We were missing utensils and there was glass on the bathroom floor. When we tried to contact the property manager through multiple channels there was no return phone call or reply. The signage around the accommodation threatening cleaning fees is also very off putting. We contacted the property manager after our stay and they blamed COVID...

"The Cottage @Tidelines was quite spacious and comfortable. With a well equipped kitchenette, it is easy enough to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable. It was a short walk to the town centre, and you can get to the beach easily, which is just across the road. "
