"On arrival, the check-in staff were not very friendly and did not guide us correctly to our rooms. We felt we were not as well treated as we could have been, and felt somewhat disappointed with our check-in service.
The room we were allocated had a sea view and a balcony. Unfortunately, there was construction right outside our room, obstructing some of the sea view and it was noisy from 7 am in the morning. We did receive appropriate compensation, but felt it best to give an honest review, as...
"Excellent hotel with lovely spa, pool, rooms, foyer and beach. Walk into Makarska takes about 20 mins with lots of bars and restaurants on the way, some quite tacky. Beach access is easy to roped off area away from watersports. Good choice of Excellent food from the buffet, although some hot dishes could be warmer. Rooftop terrace bar is incredible with spectacular views over the bay towards Brac and Hvar. Would definitely return."
