I am glad I passed on the large hotels and chose Riad Tanjil. I had a peaceful stay, enjoying the cats, peacocks and chickens! The food was delicious and generous portions. My bed was comfortable. "Outstanding staff! I cannot express how wonderful each and every person was. They treated us more like family than like guests. We were there before and during Ramadan, during the latter, they made every effort to accommodate us. One day I was sick - the front desk clerk walked with my daughter to the pharmacy to get me medicine. The first day of Ramadan they invited us to Iftar, where we, once again, were treated like family. The restaurant staff was helpful, despite the language barrier, they were still eager to help using their translating apps. We will definitely return here! It appears that this hotel is locally owned and operated. "
