"Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked!"

"Overall, this was a great stay, Positives; 1 - Great breakfast options, including a full english. 2 - A very welcoming and friendly host. 3 - Light and airy room, with good shower facility. 4 - Tea/coffee making facility in room. 5 - Nice farm with Cows and Goats on site. Handful of negatives (*2nd one i was warned about by the host, but it could do with improving for future stays); 1 - Mattress was a little on the stiff side. "The Old Mill is a lovely old building that has been well converted to a b&b. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and importantly for us, the windows are easily openable. Bere Regis is a small but well connected village, there are many places of interest within easy reach. "
