"This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. "Hotel is in a lovely location. When we arrived in the morning there was plenty of spaces in the car park, although by checking in time it was almost full. The staff on reception were very friendly. Our room was very spacious with 2 double beds and 2 chairs. The only issue I had was with the lighting, there were plenty of lamps but no ceiling lights so the room wasn’t as bright as I would like. The bar area was lovely and again the staff were very friendly. We were unable to book the breakfast when we booked the room, so chose to go to the Harvester next door instead, which was very nice and good value."
