"Borrego Springs Resort & Spa is an older resort, and great for those who want to relax on somewhat of a budget (compared to other area resorts). It's a great base of operations for day trips around the park, or just hanging at one of the resort's two very nice, relaxing pool areas. We've visited about half a dozen times over the years, and it's always a good experience. Grounds are well kept, staff is super friendly and helpful, and The Arches is a very good restaurant for breakfast (on weekends and Wed/Thur only), lunch, and dinner. Rooms are nice, but being an older resort, do have a slight musk from the long-past "smoking and non-smoking" room rules. My wife always brings a slight scented candle which alleviates that issue. I'd recommend for families on a budget who want to enjoy our local desert park. There are two golf courses, but irrigation was discontinued during the pandemic downturn, so they're not open/playable."

6/10 Okay
"Ridiculously expensive for a very average room experience. The amenities are wonderful and the restaurants are decent but the room for what you pay for is certainly not worth it. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous which makes up for the lack of consistent cleaning, old furniture, saggy mattress and 4 star accommodations. "
"We were very pleased the lounges by pool were replaced the rooms were very clean, used the fridge and microwave to reheat huge blueberry pancakes. serene stay"
"Our host greeted us. We got a tour. The best was the gorgeous room! I loved staying the governor suite. Quiet, calm and lovely. The breakfast was delicious. The 1930’s music, the ambiance of the hotel was just what I needed for a relaxing stay."
