The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The downside is it is on the ground floor, which was not obvious in the description, with sidewalks literally outside of the main windows. The area of town was fine, literally across the street from the Settlement Center and nearby restaurants though we were underwhelmed with the town Borgarnes overall. The water at this apartment had a VERY strong sulpher smell, so much so that it left the smell on your hands after washing. While somewhat present in other locations, the issue at this apartment was the cold water also smelled (which should not be the case) so we were uncomfortable drinking water from the faucets. That put a large damper on our stay in an otherwise fine location.
