Walking into the city center was easy from the hotel and getting to and from the airport using the tram system was very convenient. Suggestions for improving the property ... get rid of the carpets in the building ... they smell and are off putting ... tile or cement the floors. There are no restaurants around so the bar should offer "tapas", little things to eat in the afternoon and evening. We left very early in the morning and it would have been nice to have a cup of coffee or tea, juice and a croissant available. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Time to spruce it up.
The wine may be fine but the entire City of Bordeaux needs a good cleaning to start with. Compared to somewhere like Biarrittz they could also be better with treatment of tourists. There are a lot of wineries in this world.

Pauline on reception was a star!
Pauline receptionist at the hotel was very helpful! She spoke English as a second language which was essential when there was a problem with my son's room booking and I had to ring the travel agent in the UK.

Good experience
Nice little hotel and just walking distance to the city centre. Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable and good breakfast. Hotel is also walking distance away from Tram station and hire bikes.

Expensive for what it was
The reception staff were lovely, attentive and helpful. Nothing we requested was too much trouble There was indoor parking which is what we wanted The bed was comfortable but the air conditioning was broken and we spent the night over quite a main road with a tram line outside, with the window open and a fan whirring all night. It was a nice touch that they had provided a fan in the circumstances but considering the price we paid, a reduction offer would have been welcomed The room was clean but the towels not so much. The cleaning service was friendly and attentive

Adequate for a short stay
the room was adequate for my needs, good efficient bathroom , quiet at night. One of the beds needs a mattress change as it sags in the middle, the other was fine. Breakfast is good, although not too much choice of pastries, coffee good. Air conditioning was not working but we were provided with a fan.

Worst ibis ever... whenever you go to Bordeaux try as much as possible to avoid booking a room in this hotel unless you have no other choice. Ps there is no ac unlike what is mentioned in the description.

It was an awful hitel. Air conditioning was broken, no compensation, unable to pay the taxes in cash, staff were unpleasant and unhelpful, no manager around. We have been travelling to Bordeaux for 8 years and this was the worst hotel we have been at by miles!

The hotels air conditioning is not working! The hardly apologies! Then a guest was given my room whilst I was in it! They walked into my room whilst I was sleep and were able to get in without any issue, which makes me questions the security of this place. I went to Speak to the manager before breakfast, her attitude was careless and rude. She did not even try to investigate what happened and did not say a word to me after, overall worse experience ever and I want my money back

very good clean hotel. Restaurant fairly good. Wine a bit expensive especially when compared to Spain. Staff friendly and helpful. Took a long time in rush hour to travel off the motorway through the town to the hotel. Had difficulty actually finding the car park. Would be helpful if it had a sign at the actual entrance to the car park or instructions on the booking confirmation.

Confy two nighter hotel. Tricky to find since first floor is a restaurant. Parking is 10 euros. 10 minute walk to town center. Confy bed.

Two days away.
All was good apart from the toilet being low and a tight squeeze, and nothing to do with the hotel but next door were quite amorous on the Saturday night.Staff were all very helpful.

Restaurant service was poor..wrong order delivered on two occasions. Only one fish dish on menu. Breakfast was chaotic and needs positioning of food reviewed. Bar..well designed but had to wait for service from overstretched restaurant staff.

Very pleasant hotel
Definitely a nice hotel overall. Compared to another ibis Styles property we stayed at in Paris, this one had a much larger shower and plenty of hot water coming out of the taps. The options for breakfast were quite nice as well.

Basic 3 star hotel, after staying at other Ibis Styles thought this was below par. Small rooms were clean, small bathroom, with only a combined shampoo, conditioner, body was provided. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room downstairs in the lobby kettle with coffee sachets and sugar, no cremer or milk, herbal tea no black tea. Was lucky enough to check in 12:20 which was early at no charge.
