"It definitely has an old world charm about it with modern conveniences like the bathrooms were up-to-date and spacious showers. Keep in mind if you are visiting with lots of luggage, you might have a hard time with the staircase. It’s a beautiful winding staircase, and I unfortunately brought a big heavy suitcase. "Visiting Bordeaux for the first time, our host made us feel welcome and provided an excellent overview of the town, places to see, a few (very excellent) food recommendations and was available the whole stay to answer questions. Our room was perfectly prepared with everything we needed. The location made for easy walking to markets/attractions and also the tram. We had a fabulous time thanks to George’s fine hospitality."

"Wonderful stay at Chateau Dauzac. Loved the attention to detail and all of the personal touches to make the stay special. It started with a sign with our names at reception to welcome us. At the gates there was a flag specifically for our countries. A handwritten note in the room. Fresh Macaroons. The room was stunning. Modern but classic too. Very clean and stunning view.
