Tub and Pool Malfunction
Clean bathrooms should be well maintained. Our suite had a leaking tub. Had to transfer. Swimming pool wasn't clean due to malfunction of water filter machine; but allowed to swim in one of their alternate hotels. Hotel personnel were most helpful & apologetic.

Close to the beach but no seaview
Unfortunately, we arrived late due to a typhoon but they held our room for us. It was a generally nice hotel, however it was not as advertised. There is no longer a seaview, as another property is being built. The pool was full of sand because there vaccuum wasn't working. It is very close to the beach, about a 2 minute walk, which is nice. The breakfast included was delicious. Nice hotel but I would search elsewhere for my next stay.

최고의 리조트는 시설이나 환경에서 나오는 것이 아니라 직원의 서비스 정신에서 나와야함!
어렸을 적 필리핀에서 1년간 거주를 하였고, 누구보다 필리핀을 사랑하는 1인입니다. 하지만 이번 여행은 13년만에 보라카이를 다시 찾은 저에게 잊지못할 싫망스런 기억으로 남을 것 같습니다.
아래와 같이 느낀점을 작성하오니 향후 Resort관리에 최선을 다하여 앞으로 동일한 일이 발생하지 않았으면 좋겠고 이에 따른 보상을 정식으로 요청합니다.
1. 서비스 정신은 어디에? 3.5성급 리조트에 많은것을 바라는 것일까요? 직원들에게 최고의 리조트에서 근무한다는 정신은 어디에서도 볼 수 없었음.
1) 12월 27일 오후 9시50분 경, 당일 일정을 마치고 피곤한 몸을 이끌고 리조트로 돌아와서 휴식을 취하기 위해 Door Lock을 여는 순간 문이 열리지 않음
2) 방문에 문제가 있음을 인지하고 직원을 불러 문제를 파악하고(베터리 없음) 조속한 처리를 해달라고 요청.
3) 4~5명의 직원들이 문제를 인지하고 해결 방안을 알아보았지만 해당 Door Lock의 Spare Key가 없어서 특별한 방법이 없어보였음. 여기까지 흐른 시간이 10시 10분 정도 였고, 방문에서 계속 서있다가 직원들로부터 어떠한 조치도 받지 못해 그대로 주저 앉음. 직원들에게 문제에 대한 사과 내용 받지못함.
4) 이후 투숙객이 있는 옆방의 발코니를 통해 저의 발코니로 이동하여 잠겨있는 발코니창을 일부 부수어 마침내 Door Lock를 열 수 있었음. 문을 연것은 기쁜 소식이나 해당 객실 투숙객이 버젓이 있음에도 불구하고 Private 해야 하는 방안을 일절 상의도 없이 무단 침입한다는 것은 상식적으로 이해 불가능한 해결 방법이라고 생각함. 이때시간이 10시 40분정도 이었고, 이때까지 문 앞에 주저 앉아 기다라고 있었음.
결론 : 문제해결까지 약 50분정도가 흘렸지만 그 동안 어느직원에게도 정식으로 사과를 받지 못하였음. 이후 Front 직원을 방으로 불러 정식으로 항의하고 사과 받음. 리조트 Manager의 부재로 다음날 28일 퇴실 전까지 정식 사과한다고 하여 마무리 함. 다음날 Manager에게 재 사과 받음.
시사점 : 해당 객실에 문제가 있다면 기본적으로 직원은 문제에 대한 사과가 기본이 되야하고, 적어도 손님을 바닥에 앉히는 일은 발생하지 말아야 한다고 생각함. Private한 공간에서 해당 객실의 주인인 투숙객의 승인 없이 함부로 직원이 들어가는것은 가택 침입으로 간주해도 무방하다고 생각함.
2. 리조트에서 볼수 있는 View는 모두 공사장
1) 리조트의 어느곳을 둘러보아도 모두 공사중으로 리조트에서 감상할 수 있는 View는 그 어디에도 없음. Resort 정보에 안내 되어있지 않았고, 미리 공지되어 있다면 절대 투숙하지 않았을 것임.
2) 아침8시부터 들려오는 공사소리로 입국일 새벽에 도착한 저에게 달콤한 숙면은 절대 불가능함
3) 리조트에서 운영하는 Pool장은 바로 앞에서 다른 리조트 공사중으로 이용 불가능. 공사장에서 날라오는 각종 이물질로 수영장의 수질은 설명할 필요없음.

예약이 늦어서 급히 예약 가능한 리조트 중 선택으로 장점은 없었습니다.
건축 초기에는 좋았을 것 같지만
지금은 발코니 바로 앞 공사인 리조트가 있습니다. 수영장에도 시멘트 가루가 떨어지고...
해변은 좀 걸어가면 있지만 녹조가 가장 심하고 스테이션 2까지 가기에는 너무 멉니다.
조식도 형편없고 방정리 후 물, 비품 보충도 별로고 그다지 할 말이 없습니다

Secret of Boracay
Our stay was great at the Palms! We enjoyed the quiet location near the end of White Beach. Lots of restaurants within a 5 minute beach walk. The hotel is not on the beach, but very secure and safe place with the best staff on Boracay. The walk to the beach is only about 200 meters, there is 24 hour security staff and the hotel offers free shuttle to D'mall every hour from 9 till around 10 or 11 p.m. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the staff was always trying to help us with anything we needed.

Great hotel, not as convenient to beach
We booked a 3 bedroom suite and the accommodations were great. There was ample space for the six of us and we managed to share the 1 bathroom. The full kitchen was convenient. The staff was great. Breakfast was offered every morning and there was a convenient shuttle service to D'mall as it wasn't walking distance. The Palms was on the far end of Station 1, but beach access was not convenient. There was a path to take towards the beach and no specific place to be able to set up a spot. It would have been nice if The Palms had contracted with Friday's or Discovery Shores to allow guests to also use their beach beds. The pictures on the website show beach loungers, but that is not the case. I specifically wanted a hotel that was directly on the beach, but this wasn't it. There was also construction going on at an adjacent site, so the pool use was best in the early evening. Overall, if this hotel was right on the beach, it would have received a higher rating from me.

It was nice
I got most of the things that I asked for. A seaview room, a king sized bed, flatscreen tv with cable, a nice bathroom, and above all, a hotel with a good pool. The main thing that lacked in this place was good wifi access. Everybody had to go to the lobby just to get free internet. Such a big hassle, that really threw me off. Plus the photos from their main website was deceiving, this is not a beachfront hotel. We had to walk down and cross some boats just to get to station 1's shore. The wood railings by the cabana also badly needs to be fixed. The staff was really nice and friendly tho.

Low value for money
The positives first. This hotel is very well located even if it is not directly on the beach. Also the staff are all very friendly and especially the staff in the restaurant / bar do we very well. Unfortunately their colleagues at the front desk are not nearly as professional or competent. In addition they advertised and promised sun loungers on the beach were not available and beach towels were hard to come by most days. My friends had a partial ocean view room, which rather than the ocean only offered a view directly into the new hotel being constructed about 1.5 meters away. These things are not minor nuisances as these are things that are promised and you then get annoyed that it is not delivered. I would not stay there again, and as Boracay is full of hotel options I would recommend leaving this one very far down on the list.

Terrible customer service, hotel not for romantic
I booked this hotel for my honeymoon, big mistake. On arriving, I requested for a sea view room and was instead given a room which overloooked a construction dump, despite having informed reception that we were on our honeymoon. It was all downhill from there. Everytime we went out, the door would lock shut and not open with the key card. We would spend ages waiting for the door to be unlocked. Imagine returning after a day out!! After this happened about 10 times over 2 days, I asked for a change of rooms and was refused again!!!
On the day we left Boracay, we wanted to book an airport drop off. Now my booking confirmation email specified a certain amount. On asking the front desk,they quoted a figure much higher. When I showed them the reservation email, the lady mumbled something about old rate and new rates.
The only good thing I have to say about this hotel are the hotel boys.They are pleasant and helpful.
Boracay is a lovely place, but this hotel can spoil the whole experience. For once I had discounted customer reviews while booking this hotel and it spoilt my honeymoon. If you are looking for a budget hotel experience, then this hotel will be suitable. But this hotel is needlessly on the expensive side. I have never had such terrible customer service anywhere else in the world,not even from budget hotels. If you are looking for a romantic experience or creating some good memories, stay away from the Palms!! Heed the bad reviews on here,they are here for a reason.

Excellent Hotel
Our room was very big, clean and excellent value for money. The staff at the reception desk, dining area and also cleaning/maintenance are very friendly and ensure guests are well looked after. The Hotel itself is located in the Station One area, which is the best part of the main tourist area and only a short walk to the beach. A free shuttle van for guests operating every hour from the Hotel to the main shopping locality is a real bonus.

If you want to be at the quiet end of the beach, this is a good location and you may get a competitive price from them. It is about 4 mins up the hill from the farthest end of White Beach. The pool is nice. The staff wants to please, but is in reality a bit 'Fawlty Towers'. The food is not good, but then you can just walk down to Fridays or some other place. For me it all comes down to the price you can for this place. If it is a significant discount to Fridays, then it is a deal.

I stayed at the Palms for 4 days and had a wonderful time the staff were friendly and helpful The rooms were spacious and elegantly furnished with housekeeping everyday The room opened out onto a balcony with a breathtaking view of the sea. The hotel provided a free regular shuttle bus into the village centre, which was only 5 minutes away. All in all it was great value for money.

Located at the far end of station 1
First, the hotel is high-end with quality furniture and fixings. Second, food is great. Third, they were very strict with visitors; it was already irritating. Fourth, the location is at the far end of Station 1 where there are no bars or "gimmick" places and trike fare costs double than other Station 1 hotels or inns. But you have the beach to yourself.

Отличный ресторан при отеле. Просторные номера с удобной кроватью и просторной ванной комнатой. В номере всегда чисто, никаких лишних запахов и тд. Тихо и уютно. До пляжа идти две минуты. Пляж это отдельная история, здесь нет многочисленных назойлевых торговцев, нет шумной толпы как на D'mall, очень тихо и спокойно, сплошной релакс. Очень рекомендую этот пляж - Diniwing. Единственный минус, что мало лежаков и эти дежаки приходится делить с другими тремя соседними отелями. Если кому хочется отдыхать на центральном шумном пляже, то от отеля ходит бесплатный шатл. В общем очень рекомендую этот отель тем кто любит тихий спокойный и качесвенный отдых. Жили с невестой здесь 9 дней в конце октября, погода был отличная, море спокойное.

could be nice, but isn't
The hotel is nice enough, but has some major drawbacks. First of, it's not on the beach and there is some detouring to get there, where there are no beds. Far worse is that there is construction site 10 meters away from the hotel, so that our room looked out on solid conrete wall. And if that wasn't bas enough, the waterpomping system made so much noise, is was impossible to have a conversation on the balcony. I reported this to de staff, but they were unable to change rooms, beceause it was fully booked and they left things at that.
In conclusion, you have luch if you are on the other side of the hotel, but at these prices, there should be a view/ a beach / peacefullness.

no cooking allowed in this property
cooking is not allowed in rooms even if the descrisption saying there are cooking facilities and other Cookware, dishware, and utensils provided.
The front desk was serving awfully and rudely.

lækkert hotel med fred og ro
lækkert hotel, fine værelser, beliggenheden noget væk fra centrum men det opvejes af den fine service der er på hotellet med en schuttle bus some kører en gang i timen
utroligt venligt personale, god og lækker mad
