The place is not where you think it is. More than just a few steps to the beach(around 150 steps) And the road(alley) in front is always flooded with dirty rain water. But it is conveniently beside the main road where you can get a ride easily. The facility itself is decent but not worth the money we paid for. There are no elevators. And since we got a suite( but really small for a suite) we were put in the highest level of the building. Imagine climbing up 4 floors,every time with 2 kids and bags in tow. Cable tv was just cable tv and not even clear. Signal was scrambled on most channels and the ones which you could watch was fuzzy. The room had no closet. Just a small table. And we all shared a common balcony with the rest of the floor. Imagine someone looking into your room while you're doing your business. However the staff were courteous and helpful. And somewhat compensated for the place. Breakfast is ALA carte and not buffet. Nothing spectacular. Welcome drink is iced tea ..

If you're going here and not familiar with the Philippines you need to know that hotels on Borocay are located at stations. You need to look for the sign above a side street that says "Station 3" to find this hotel because you will be dropped off by the tricycle taxi across the street and will not be able to see the hotel. Remember look for the sign that says Station 3!

If there was no mold in the room it would be ok ..but mold was on the curtains, ceiling of the room above the air conditioning and in the bathroom...such a shame...

The money i paid at expedia is not Worth it. The shower room is terrible its clog whenever after use. Dirty towels. The staff are so helpful and really nice. Its just the facility needs improvement. The door is hard to open. Its close to the beach which is advantage. I appreciate the staff for trying to make our stay comfortable .Its so small its like an apartment around local community. The way to the beach is so muddy coz of the rain.

Hotellet ligger gångavstånd till stranden,restauranger, butiker. Frukosten är så där som behövs att lyfta upp. Jag skulle önska att det finns frukter, juicer, annars personalen är trevliga och hjälpsamma.

Prisvärt hotell och trevliga personalen

Hotellet ligger inte precis vid stranden men det tar ungefär 5 minuter att gå till stranden. Billigt hotell och prisvärt. Personalen är trevliga och hjälpsamma. Frukosten är så inte den bästa men det går att äta och det finns mycket restauranger nära stranden så vi åt lunch och middag där.

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was super nice and helped us with anything we needed. Our room was small and there wasn’t much room for luggage but it was just the two of us and we weren’t planning on spending a lot of time there so we didn’t mind it. The hotel had a pretty good breakfast selection and was about 5 min walk to the beach and other restaurants/shopping. Overall we both enjoyed our stay at blue ocean and would probably stay there again.

Sehr tolles und sauberes Hotel mit Nähe zum Strand

Das Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert. Aufmerksames und sehr hilfsbereites Personal, Bar auf der Dachterrasse, sehr saubere Zimmer, toller Service, sehr freundlicher Hotelmanager, WLAN, gutes Frühstück, und immer Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Das einzige was uns nicht ganz so gefallen hat, war das etwas beengte Zimmer und die direkte Lage an der Hauptstraße. Zwar sind die Fenster gut schallisoliert, aber man bekommt doch recht viel mit von der Betriebsamkeit der Insel. Ansonsten würde ich hier wieder hinkommen. Vielen Dank
