"There is no shortage of "Pousada's", or bed and breakfasts, in the Urubici area. It seems to be the main cottage industry (pun kind of intended). This was a great place though, off the beaten track so it was very quiet and private. However, it was still just a few minutes from the main road and a great launching point for local attractions.
The cabins themselves are very cute, comfortable, and well maintained. The common area was equally welcoming, in good repair, and clean.

"The property is beautiful, clean and comfortable and the views are stunning. The hostess is very attentive. The only complicated thing is the road up the mountain which is rocky in the last few miles. Overall the experience was amazing and pleasant."

"Great and delicious breakfast, very filling. Mãe was very nice, friendly and welcoming. Nice and clean room. Nice view. Delicious complementary hot chocolate. But the shower was bad. It was either freezing cold water or boiling hot water. No in between. The temperature of the water couldn't be set. "

"Amazing place! Extremely quiet and amazing views. Be aware to get the room’s password before arriving there. there is no connection outside! Only wifi inside the “cabanas”.

"We spent seven days at Cabanas Araxá and had an amazing time in the mountains, surrounded by peaceful nature. Our experience was made even better by the exceptional hospitality of Gisele, who welcomed us warmly and ensured we had everything we needed. She and her husband went above and beyond to assist us when our car got stuck, and we truly appreciated their kindness. Highly recommended! "
