The most prestigious area in La Paz is the Southern district. It would take you 20 minutes to get there by a taxi. Taxi cabs are not expensive in La Paz."

"Please understand what a budget hotel is and refrain from comparing it to a Marriott or Hilton. This hotel was a few steps away from the witches market, restaurants and 15 minutes from airport. The bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. Elevator operated. Restaurant on site. I booked again after my return from Uyuni. Also has a beautiful view of the city at night "
