"The tent cabin was nice for the price. The property was very close to Bodie State Park for the purpose of our visit. "

"Staff was very friendly. Rooms were older, but well maintained, not lavish, but practical. On site laundry was convenient and reasonably priced. Although we didn't have time, there was a fire pit where Smores were served during the evening. A fun chance to meet your fellow travelers. Motel is out in the country with the nearest town being Bridgeport 5 miles away. Another motel (smaller) and restaurant were across the street. Motel was very convenient for our visit to Bodie ghost town."

"The front desk staff was extremely welcoming! And the motel was so charming! Clean rooms, walking distance to everything in town and comfortable beds. Outdoor furniture with lights allowed us to sit outside after dinner. We stayed on our way to Bodie and absolutely loved it!! "

Jeff & Jo were wonderful hosts - Jeff found out I was staying plants and showed me the hops vine our back and pointed me in the direction of the most incredible hot springs I've ever been to! "I was Bridgeport for work and selected The Walker River Lodge for convenience. It may look very retro but the room was great. Due to the time of year, I was able to park right in front of my room which made my stay easier. All in all, it was a really nice facility."
