"I was at Haven, formerly Hotel Schmidt-Monique in Bochum for 8-days. I arrived 25-minutes before the “official” check-in time and was told I could check-in early for €20. Needless to say I waited the 25 minutes. The new owners are focussing on the hotel so the restaurant that was originally part of the hotel complex is currently closed. "I extended my stay at this property because it was so convenient and comfortable. It had everything I needed. Spacious, clean room, in the center of the town, equipped small kitchen and free laundry facility. The check-in was very easy, good remote customer service. Will definitely consider this place for my next visit."

Was having a very quick stop on route to Berlin so didn’t use any facilities, gym, bar etc. Reception staff spoke excellent English and were cheerful and helpful when I arrived late at 3am!!
