"3.5 star Beautiful property. The grounds were well maintained. Room was nice. We had some minor maintenance issues like a leaky toilet but only a minor inconvenience. Food was pretty decent we had lunch while we waited to check into our room. The beach club is about 10 minutes away was nice with pretty good food and a great beach. Cons: No beach near property really. Minor con because the beach club was really fun. The biggest problem is the fact that they nickel and dime you. An example is that the property has a driver and vehicle. We went to dinner 10 mins away and they charge you 20 dollars plus tip each way for a mile each way. That should be complimentary for guests less the tip. But ok, if you’re going to charge at least be in line with what a cab would be which is 1/2 that. And the spa….i mean this was a little eye opening. 200 for a 1/hr basic massage. That’s double what we paid in Panama City at a luxury hotel. And look, I’m a capitalist charge what you want but at least disclose the prices. No pricing on the menu and nothing stated up front for a very expensive service for what it was. It’s cheaper at the Four Seasons in most markets. Overall, place is nice. I think they need to clean some things up because we left feeling taken advantage of. But I also want to be supportive of what the area is trying to become as it has a lot of potential. We won’t stay there again but I wouldn’t deter someone from staying there."

"Our stay at Lula's was nothing short of wonderful! The hosts were extremely friendly and incredibly helpful. The property is located perfectly on the edge of town...close enough to walk to town and far enough away to feel quiet and relaxing. The patio upstairs was a great place to unwind in the cool ocean breeze. We also loved having access to a guest kitchen complete with our own labeled drawer in the fridge."
