"Our room was as per photos, plenty of space & nice & clean. We had a noise issue which the Staff had us moved to a different room within the hour. We never really used the Bar & Restaurant but it looked clean.
Parking was not really a problem as we were out most of the day. Location is good just a short walk into town & beach. Would come back again."

"After having stayed at East Pier many times I was disappointed with the fact in order to view even free to air TV, one needed to know one’s logins and also for other platforms. The enjoyment of coming home after a night out, the part of climbing into bed and switching on the TV is now not an option without logging in. We also had to pay to watch Supercars and the All Blacks. Concerning also, was to see someone’s email address at the login. Privacy issues I would imagine."

"Website advertised reception open til 7pm, which I liked as I made decision to stop driving to rest on road trip. Reception wasn’t open when arrived at 5.45pm. Called phone no. listed on the entry door. They made plans to collect key at another hotel 3min drive away so that was ok. As it was a last minute decision to stay night as I had been driving all day, I was really disappointed there were no bathrobes as advertised, I had no jarmies or clothes and chose the Hotel over others as it stated...
