The mountain views from the room are fantastic, and the front desk staff were friendly and full of helpful suggestions on local restaurants and attractions. The rooms are the old-fashioned motel style with wallpaper and charming lamps, but very clean and well-maintained. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and plenty of attractions within a mile or two."

"Host seemed annoyed that we reserved through Expedia. There were only two couples staying in the place and she stuck us both upstairs next to each other. We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense. The place has a lot of character, but we wish the owner was more friendly/welcoming. Also, food was mediocre. It has been much better in past visits here. It’s like we were an annoyance to her this...
