Ann, Maureen and staff were wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and the 5:00pm happy hour was an unexpected surprise. Keep doing what you're doing.

Room was very clean! Breakfast was delicious with the exception of the coffee. Staff were wonderful and the staff kitty was adorable. Place could use some updates such as an adapter to plug a cellphone in and a place to put suitcases however the location and staff made up for these.

I would like to start by saying as soon as you walk in the place it smelt so amazing. The staff/owner Ann was at the door to greet us and give us a tour. The kitty Simon was very welcoming as well. Ann was so nice that she even gave me a gift as it was my 1 yr anniversary as well as engagement. The food was fresh and made with love. I would highly recommend to anyone that likes a nice, cozy and peaceful place to stay.

There is nothing to not like
Joann and those at the Blue Dory were nothing but lovely and accomodating on our pre-season BI getaway. Great breakfasts, cheese and wine evenings, & coffee availability. Simon the cat lazes around! The views of the water are amazing. The location is nestled just in town. Can't wait to return.

Gracious Inn with all the amenities. Owner (Ann) and Innkeeper (JoAnn) were welcoming and excellent resources for anything Block Island. Our room had beautiful ocean views and I fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves. It was wonderful! Great breakfasts and evening wine and cookies. We loved this place and will return again!

Over all experience was great. Great staff. Needs some updating on the place. And needs more food accomidating for people with allergies. I would highly recommend this place.

Hi Tom, Thank you so much for your feedback. We appreciate it! Ocean Sonnet is in fact the smallest room in the Blue Dory, but it has lovely views directly out over the ocean! I might recommend Chantilly or one of our stand-alone cottages next time - Tea House is lovely. We hope to see you again soon!

Highly Recommend
This was such a nice stay. We stayed in the Victoria Room which was clean and so comfortable. Breakfast and wine hour were fantastic. This is right on the beach and there were towels and beach chairs for us at the property to use. I would stay here again.

This is a fine getaway. Ideal location close to ferry, restaurants, and beach right behind you that Blue Dory supplies chairs and towels for their guests. Very clean and friendly staff.

well the place was very izy to find the staff was very nice the only thing I did not like it was the breakfast is was not lot choise there but the rest it was very good.

Thank you! The dining room is in the kitchen. We try to keep things quiet but we are working through the breakfast to ensure everything is ready and goes well. Guests are always welcome to take their breakfast up to the parlor, outside, or to their room. So glad you enjoyed your stay!

Blue Dory Inn is fabulous.
The Blue Dory Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Wonderful staff and ownership. It’s an A plus. Make sure you make it to the wine hour to meet other guests.

A-Plus Inn
This trip to Block Island was a quick friends getaway, and the Blue Dory Inn was the perfect choice! The staff was very welcoming and made us feel like we've stayed with them before. I received a personal call within an hour of booking to confirm the date and they asked my ferry arrival time. Since we arrived earlier than check-in, they were happy to keep our bags while we explored. The little touches at the Inn are wonderful - beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels are all available. There's an afternoon happy hour, and breakfast was freshly cooked. We were able to store items in the guest refrigerator. And, our room was adorable and had a wonderful shower. The customer service was awesome, and they made my first visit truly spectacular! The Inn also has a perfect location to walk to many shops, restaurants, and the ferry. All in all, a great couple of days.

From the minute we stepped through the front door we were greeted with a warm smile by the inn owner that made you feel like you were visiting family! The location is perfect close to everything, room was clean and the bed very comfortable we stayed in the Renaissance room. There honestly wasn’t one thing that we didn’t like except that we had to leave to go back home . This is truly a gem! Can’t wait to go back
