"We stayed with a friend and her 4 year old - the folks running the farm were super friendly, and the 4 yo is still talking about how she misses Ben & Bob (the farm Collies). The cottage is on a working farm, and has been nicely restored, though it's clearly an old building, and I must have banged my head *every* time I went to load the fire in the kitchen!
It's a place with real character - the farm has cows, goats, chickens, and fish, and would be great for anyone with kids.

"An excellent place for touring the lakes and the coast, easy to get to. Spoilt being a Sykes site as they go above and beyond to make it perfect with all you need for a memorable holiday. Many thanks for a very clean and comfortable stay, will recommend."
