The staff were very pleasant and very accommodating. Went out of their way to make us feel special. The rooms were very spacious and a great breakfast.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Friendly and competent staff, quiet mall, a lot of dining options around and no alcohol anywhere in the Hotel.
My wife and I have stayed here twice, both times for a week. We HIGHLY recommend Crossroads Hotel. The beds are extra comfy, the rooms are larger than regular hotels, the Copper Pot Restaurant is awesome, and the staff are simply the best you can find! Our only gripe would be the WiFi which most of the time was not very strong.

Excellent hotel. Large comfortable rooms. Good price. Good staff.
Only disadvantage is shower was only releasing a bit of water.
The staff and facilities were amazing! I had no idea when I booked this hotel that it would be the level of class that it was! For the price, it is the best option in Blantyre.

Max 3 Star - not impressed
No pork, no alcohol beverages, breakfast very small variation, dinner Indian cuisine only.
Smelly room, old coffee, leaking water boiler, noisy AC, need to enter and leave the hotel via the garage i the morning.

Not worth the money. Big, clean rooms, but that’s about it. Awful food, no alcohol served, no swimming pool or outdoor seating area. Very claustrophobic feel overall.

The food was bad, way below standard. They don’t have irons in the room. I order ginger tea and was told the one who keeps the key to the store only come at around 11 in the morning. The room are nice
I left an important folder at the Crossroads and the staff went above and beyond to ship the folder to Lilongwe. That kind of help is above and beyond what one normally receives. I will definitely stay at the Crossroads the next time I m in Blantyre.
It took to repair leak points at the bath room in my room.
In addition, tissue papers with a box were not put in my room, but only soft papers for a toilet. It was very inconvenient for guest like me in any cases. Whenever I want to use that, I used to go to the toilet. As far as I stayed in the hotels, Urban area in Africa, I have not experienced to stay in the hotels without tissue papers.
Thanks.

Guest
The stay was good. Thought the attidue of the front office and aome staff needs to change. Not every guest will dress immaculately. I chose to look simple for a reason - holiday. Same dreassing if it was a white person will be treated differently. They must learn to treat everyone equally regardless.
