"This is a small flat on the top floor of a terrace house. Yes you can see the river just past the plumbers merchant yard and the industrial estate on the opposite bank. Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not. "Great location right in the heart of Cork, easily walkable to all the shops, restaurants, bars. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Bath and mini-kitchen were extremely well-equipped and modern (high-pressure showerhead, nice rosemary-mint bath products stocked, small fridge, oven, dishwasher, cookware and serve ware). "The Hotel Isaacs is a great place to stay. Breakfast menu is absolutely fantastic. Location is perfect to walk into main centre of town and has all sorts of pubs and restaurants close by. The staff was amazing. They helped with everything from getting us reservations to different places to eat, how to get to different areas to shop. We give the 10 out of 10 score and will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Cork"

"The main part of the hotel looks wonderful but the rooms are old, the carpet was dirty, floors creaky, cracks in walls and peeling. The soap was put way too high. It was also dirty, we found someone else fake eyelash in the bathroom. Great location though. Car park is a 5-8 min walk. "

"Location was great for us. The view from the terrace lounge was stunning. We experienced a newly remodeled suite which were lovely. One comment is there was not enough counter space or hooks in the bathroom. We enjoyed our visit!"

"The health club was excellent. Lloyd, the manager, was extremely helpful. I have a rare motor neuron disease that causes difficulty with balance and walking yet Lloyd let me use the gym with no fuss."
