will definitely stay at this hotel again, much better than the days inn located on the same site.

Corridors looking shabby, otherwise basic but acceptable for one night

Setting was fantastic but the only downside was being under the landing strip of Stansted Airport.

The owners are very hospitable and gave a lot of attention to their guests making sure they had everything they needed. Very easy to find the place which is set in a pretty tranquil village.

Very good room, renovated with real feel for both the period of the property and the needs of a weary traveller. Staff were very welcoming and helpful despite our late arrival. It has an old world charm, quiete and charming but please find that beautiful peacock a mate! He looks so sad and lonely !
