"For the price this was a fantastic selection. The room had everything you needed except a coffee maker. We headed out at 5:30 AM one morning and would’ve been nice to make coffee in our room since the breakfast didn’t start till 630. I enjoyed the breakfast which included croissants and a made on the spot cheese omelette. Even though Econolodge is part of a chain there were lots of little Santa Fe touches in the furnishings and decor."

"Started with a clean room, but housekeeping did not clean our room during our stay. We asked for clean towels but didn’t receive any. I walked down to housekeeping room and got my own towels for family. I also emptied our own trash. Front lobby clerk in the morning was rude and I think he tried to be funny but was annoying with his words. We had a leak to ac unit. Beds were comfortable, and breakfast was good. Second day they ran out of coffee right away so I recommend going down early....

"This is my 13th trip to Santa Fe. And the first time staying at the Inn of the Governors. I will definitely be returning. While the rooms are older, the ambience of South American charm feels very comfortable. The Inn is a well oiled machine. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. There’s always somebody cleaning something ….very well kept up! there is a charming pool, absolutely beautifully landscaped.
