"This was misleading advertising on Hotels.com. I selected a tent with 2 queen beds and a bunk bed for about R1700. Just before we arrived I got a call from the hosts and let them know that 2 friends would arrive 30 minutes before us. I was told that I would have to pay an additional R790 for them because they charge extra each person over 2. This was not made clear on the app. This accommodation was not worth over R2,500 for the night. Unhappy guests who feel ripped off."

"We had a magical stay in Firefly cabin. It was tranquil with a delightful view. The wood burning stove was essential and perfect. Great location for visiting the nearby wildlife sanctuaries."

"Certainly one of the best accommodations I have stayed in. The location is quiet with a beautiful view. The lodge itself and the rooms are extremely nice with a cozy ambience. The owners were very friendly and gave us a lot of tips. We only stayed one night there but at the end we wished we could have stayed longer. "

"Superlative and ultimate calm resting place for those whio need a base in Pleetenberg region, just off N2 en route to Tstiskama. Excellent clean facilities- swimming pool, kitchen, lounge, bbq and of course rooms. The view over the bay is beautiful and has its own private walkway to the lagoon. Its located within a secure enclosed golf course. "Check-in and reception staff were very accommodating. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean with a great attention to detail. The bed and bed linen were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, beat poached eggs ever. Will be back there on our next travels through the garden route. "

"The breakfast was first class and the staff were friendly and helpful- even coming out from behind the desk to hold open the doors. The Ebony room we stayed in had a good sea view beyond the public car park. The situation was very close to the beach and the excellent Fat Fish restaurant."
