"This property is near two places that I can only recommend. One is obvious, Mount saint Michel. I left the hotel early and arrived at the Abbey at around 7:30 AM, way before all the masses of tourists and had a nice time exploring the town. The Abbey opens at 9 o’clock and despite all the tourists it actually was still enjoyable. The other place was a small town called Avranches. It is quite quaint, on top of a mountain, a beautiful garden from which you have a far away look onto the Abbey of Mount saint Michel. I’m beautiful churches, I had a really good dinner and they were plenty of choices. The hotel was in perfect location."

Thanks to wonderful personal suggestions from Patrice, we were able to easily explore the best of both Normandy and Brittany, including an unforgettable visit to the nearby Mont Saint-Michel. The culinary experience here was a major highlight of our trip. Every single meal at the restaurant was exceptional, showcasing fresh local ingredients and incredible flavours. The service was attentive, warm, and perfectly complemented the wonderful food. Auberge de la Sélune and its restaurant do not just offer a stay, they offer a truly unforgettable experience. It is a flawless combination of excellent accommodation, beautiful surroundings, and top-tier dining. We highly recommend this gem and cannot wait to return!"
