"The room was clean but I can smell the carpet (or the floor). It smelled like hikers’ feet… I think it is time for them to shampoo the carpet. Otherwise, the room is decent in size. Parking was ample. The lady at the front desk was courteous but when I expressed to her that I would like to extend my stay for one more night, she simply said “oh, we’re completely sold out”. She said so without even checking in her computer if there’s anything available and she did not even mention that the Big Horn Lodge has a sister hotel nearby. In short, she did not offer any help or at least show any gesture in trying to help."
"Glass in driveway. Window slid open (so far that I could pass luggage in/ out of it to avoid the walk). No screen, no way to lock the window (so anyone could slide it open). I had to put my cane in the base of window to ensure safety.
No staff on premise.
clean, but very outdated. It seemed to be a "Mobile home" converted ."
"Proximity to Arches and camp-ish feel was why I chose HTR. Having access to showers and a kitchen after a long day of hiking is really appreciated. The only downside was the noise from the highway while staying in the tents. Otherwise, a great place and helpful and friendly host. "
"The place smells and has bugs. It's just sitting in a parking lot close to a loud road. The parking lot lights stay on all night and shine right in the upper windows."
"Quaint little hotel, everything was great! It was quiet and clean, a good place to rest after long hiking days. Odessa was extremely nice and helpful."
