"Couldn’t be happier with our stay. Room was newly renovated, thoughtfully furnished with modern touches like multi USB charging port, enough towel racks in the bathroom. All the little touches that chain hotels seem to miss!
The common area was well stocked with books and games, and a lovely veranda to enjoy free Little Jay coffee and high end teas from, all complimentary.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which was in the “budget” wing called the motel. It sure didn’t feel budget at all! Highly recommended!"
"The location is nice. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant onsite. Coffee and tea are available in the room. A continental breakfast in the lodge would be a nice addition. Even if they brought in bagels, muffins and toast. Also, they were renovating the mens lockeroom so that wasn't available, the hot tub wasn't really hot, and the sauna wasn't working. No USB ports in the rooms. "
"What a beautiful historic house! Caryn has made it into a lovely home, and was a wonderful hostess. The room was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious - thick fluffy pancakes with fruit and maple syrup. Would totally recommend."
"The property was clean and beautiful. However, the standard room was much much too small for 4 people. In fact it was one of the smallest hotel rooms my family has ever stayed in. It cannot accommodate 4 people and the beds were smaller than standard double beds. So we added a suite which was much too expensive at over $300. Laundry cost $7. The following night we did more laundry for free at the Hotel Le Dauphin in Montreal. . Was told over and over that if the owners were here...."
"We were very happy with our stay. We originally chose a room which wasn’t what we expected and the staff was wonderful helping us pick another one. Everyone from the restaurants to the Innkeepers were great."
