"This hotel is located in an almost industrial setting. It’s at the junction of an interstate and a busy highway. There’s also rail traffic nearby. Noisy. The parking area borders a dirt lot that semi-trucks use to make u-turns. There’s also some type of public utilities structure in the parking area. The lobby is extremely sparse and not too welcoming. The manager was curt. "Staff was not very friendly, and they were even worse when they saw my dog. “That will be $$75 more for your dog….kind of rudely. I expected a charge but when you are paying over $300 per night for a room….my dog is 11 years old and obviously not a dog that would ruin a room. Very unlikely that I will stay at this property again"

"A 2 minute repair to plumbing tape on the showerhead in room 213 would eliminate getting sprayed in the face when the water is turned on. It took me 3 tries with the breakfast room toaster and my English muffin was barely warm. A new toaster on Amazon costs $50. The walls are paper thin. I could hear my neighbors talking over my TV. They have a shop with snacks but they won’t let you in to browse. This gave me a clue as to the other guests. Won’t return."

"Excellent stay. We arrived late and still no problem checking in. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, the shower worked great, and the breakfast offered so many choices. Our only complaints were 1) the noise from nearby freeway traffic (specifically semi trucks) and 2) the blackout shades didn’t keep out enough early morning sun to allow us to sleep in. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area."

"The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and the grounds make a wonderful first impression. Unfortunately, the rooms don't quite match the beauty of the exterior. They are very simple, outdated, and have more of a motel feel than a hotel. The walls are also quite thin, so noise from neighboring rooms can be an issue. "This hotel is delightful and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are so spacious and nicely decorated. The sheets and towels are excellent quality, and the breakfast is a delicious real breakfast. The exercise equipment is all in working order and nice quality. My only complaint is that a little standing water by the pool led to a mosquito or two in my room, because I was right beside the pool. I will absolutely stay here again."
