It was such a shame that we only stayed overnight, as this would have been a nice place to unwind after a full day of skiing. Everyone was extremely friendly, we arrived late and the host made self-check in very easy, rooms are quaint with a ton of character, bed wasn't the most comfy out there but still slept pretty well in spite of it! We will most definitely be back!

The host is really helpful and welcoming!! The lobby, fireplace, and the room we were staying in are so well decorated and maintained. Everything is just so perfect.

We loved our stay here, it's a very cosy lodge with a pool table, lots of fireplaces, wonderful porch for relaxing and taking in the mountain air. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is a real treat and it's a wonderful chance to get to know the other guests as well as the innkeepers!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Gold Mountain Manor. It is a truly unique lodge in the beautiful setting of Big Bear Lake. The hosts Darrin and Amy made us so welcome - it felt like staying with old friends. The lodge has a range of beautiful guest areas including a verandah where a delicious breakfast is served each morning and several lounges with lovely comfy sofas - the perfect place to while away a few hours. The garden setting was surrounded by trees and lots of seating areas. Our bedroom - The Clark Gable room - was sumptuous and cosy. Our only regret was that we wished we'd booked a longer stay!

10/10 would recommend. Darrin and Amy were so hospitable for our weekend getaway. This cozy B&B is very warm and welcoming. The staff are very responsive and it truly feels like home. Breakfast was also top notch and will cater to any dietary restrictions if needed. We will definitely be staying again the next time we’re in Big Bear.

Great B&B, its so warm and cozy the proprietor Darin is very helpful and went out of his way to accommodate us on an issue we had with regards to road closures. The breakfast is awesome, I highly recommend this place!

The owners of the property are very nice and cordial. The property is 100 years old and has a bit of history. There are fund games to play and you feel right at home staying at gold mountain manor bed and breakfast.

Amazing little gem off the main road that has a great charm and unique themed rooms. We stayed in the Clark Gablle room with an extremely comfortable long size bed. The owners of this bed and breakfast are super friendly and serve amazing breakfasts! Will definitely be back!

My first Bed &Breakfast!
We were greeted as soon as we pulled in the lot by Darrin and his friendly dog Jax. It was like family welcoming you in their home. The entire property is cozy, peaceful, and full of beautiful decor and trinkets, The place was built in 1928 so it’s full of history, charm, antique furniture, working wood burning fireplaces downstairs and in your room. The veranda was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee overlooking the snow covered garden. Plenty of outdoor garden to walk around or sit in a rocking swing and enjoy the beautiful pine trees. My husband and I loved exploring the place and also the fact it’s only 10-15 minutes to big bear village. 9a breakfast was delicious, made with love and care. We sat with the other guests there which was nice to meet them and hear about their plans for the day and the next morning see how their adventure went! The place is really a gem and we look forward to staying here again.

It was my first real Bed and Breakfast experience and we felt that we are at our own home. The hosts are great and they were always ready to help and assist us. The rooms are large and very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the location is very close to the mountain and also about 20 minutes to village. We had a great time.

The Gold Mountain Manor is awesome! The cabin is very cozy and peaceful. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by natural beauty. There are plenty of places in the cabin to lounge and take in all of the beautiful scenery. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Darrin and Amy are very friendly and make you feel at home. Great place to stay if you are in Big Bear!

Romantic stay!
Not a regular hotel but, Bed and breakfast concept where they not one serve breakfast but prepare your plate and bring it to you. It was a cool experience for us and staff made it better. This is not corporate hotel that you directly communicate with the owner of the hotel which makes things easier if you have sort of challenges to deal with. I did not give five stars because of a power outage happened around 3.00 am when it was freezing cold and woke up to a cold room until it’s fixed around 6.00am.

Thank you Murat - e appreciate the overall positive review. It is disappointing that you would deduct points from your rating due to a power outage - something we have zero control over. Power does go out at times in the mountains and we provide fireplaces in all our rooms in the unlikely event power does go out.

Gold Mountain Manor is the perfect get-away location! Not far from town, but secluded enough to make you feel in a world of your own. The Manor is beautiful with cozy rooms and plenty of charm. The best place I have ever stayed.
This was one of best places I have ever stayed. The staff was unbelievably accondating and friendly. They served breakfast each morning and made sure everyone dietary restrictions were followed. The breakfast was also delicious. The entire property is rich with history and just so warm and comforting. There is a beautiful little lawn where they hold weddings. A cozy game room with tons of games, movies and a pool table. I would stay here again and again.

We loved the character of this place. We can’t wait to go back. We are planning on making this our annual anniversary getaway. We stayed in the Presidential Suite and loved it. Fireplace and giant bathtub were why we picked that room. Next time we want to try the Clark Gable Room.

This time we chose to stay at presidential suit. Nice, spacious, with hot tub, the view of snowy trees. We stayed there for two nights and skied in summit snow. Delicious breakfast as well. Kind hosts and pet friendly place :)

This is the perfect place to sit and relax. The staff is ultra friendly and they prepare delicious breakfast. There are many other treats such as free snacks, espresso machine in the room, etc. You'll feel as if you were in your own cabin in the mountains. I do recommend it.

We were in the Bessie room, each room is unique. Room was ample, bedding was first class, had wood burning fireplace. Very, very rustic. The small, electric space heater for the room couldn't hold a steady room temperature. Bathroom was tiny, with minimal counter space, I could barely turn around in the shower. Breakfast was delicious but was unavailable except at 9 AM, with no flexibility. Since many Big Bear activities start at 9, we had to choose between the breakfast and the activities.

Thank you for the feedback Paul. Spectrum had community wide internet issues the weekend you were with us, despite our business class status. Unfortunately, we have guests that want breakfast at 7 and those who want it at 10. As a small operation, we have to pick a happy medium. For those who need to leave early, we have pastries, cereals, oatmeal, etc. As a 100 year old log mansion, yes, it is rustic. Sorry we weren't able to fully meet your expectations.

Room was much larger than expected. Loved the jacuzzi! Check in was super easy and check out the same. Home cooked breakfast was AMAZING! Really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Big Bear.
