"Gite bien situé au calme, propre, cosy, petit déjeuner parfait. Merci à Virginie pour son accueil et sa disponibilité."

"Spotless room and great location."

"Lovely old property close to towns in the scenic Dordogne. A car is essential. We stayed in the old castle which was charming. Excellent restaurant - be sure to book ahead."

"Somewhat mixed feelings. We arrived and the budget room we had booked was tiny and had no draw space to put clothes and only a rail to hang things. We requested a larger room and got one at an extra cost which was fine. The location was stunning over looking a field of sunflowers (its a shame they had gone past their best. "This is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful spa area."

"This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings and our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Great breakfast, too. Close to many villages as well as Sarlat, without being in the thick of the city. Would definitely stay there again if I return."

"The best beds, service, staff, reception, linens pillows everything was SUBERB."

"It was perfect. The owners were wonderful, and Sarlat was our favorite place to visit."

"Tiny room for three, but highly functional if used for the basics. Neat details and exceptionally clean! The staff was great and breakfast was flawless! Parking is super convenient."

"Nice motel with easy parking, 6km drive from Sarlat and very convenient to drive around the Dordogne valley. Easy access to Many attractions. Clean and comfortable, fair price. We stayed for 2 nights . "

"Kind courteous and accommodating host and hostess. A beautiful chateau in lovely surroundings. The local area and restaurants deserve further investigation. As recommended by our hostess- Restaurant Petite Tonnelle definitely worth a visit. 5 stars. Thank you"
