"Called to ask about checkin process. Checkin was quick. Margaret is a great hostess and left croissants for us and water in the fridge. Location is close to most attractions in Peterborough. Place is on a busy road so can be noisy if you are sleeping in the front bedroom but I had a good night sleep in the bedroom facing the back. Beds were firm which I like but living room furniture was softer."

"Me and my partner stayed in the Premier Suite 122. It was excellent! Barely any noise from other guests (even being near the breakfast area). The breakfast itself was fine, and there was always a variety of items to choose. Everything in the room was clean!!! And well maintained. The AC and fireplace both worked really good once we figured them out. The jetted tub was very soothing. We tried out the pool and hot tub as well, they met our needs. The room itself was a little dated in decor, but it was very spacious and comfortable. Very handy having our own sink, microwave and fridge. It was also nice having our own deck we could walk off of and down to the dock and watch the wildlife. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We were even granted a late check out we requested. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Best Western Otonabee. Get the Premier Suite if you can!"

"I don't understand why you would mention a kitchen as a feature when there are no dishes, pans, cutlery etc to use. Do they honestly think the average traveler is packing a whole kitchen when traveling? People who travel with dishes are probably camping or in an RV and have no need for the kitchen. We brought food to prepare and ended up ordering out instead. Disappointed."

"Quelle belle expérience nous avons vécue à ce très beau Motel tranquille! Nous y sommes allés sans le connaître car il était sur notre route. Les propriétaires travaillent fort pour offrir des chambres très propres et modernes, confortables, frigo/micro-ondes/ séchoir/ télé/ air climatisée sans oublier un lit vraiment confortable, bref, tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un excellent séjour. Je voudrais souligner la gentillesse des propriétaires. Merci de nous avoir si bien reçus, nous espérons vous visiter à nouveau. Il nous fera plaisir de vous recommander. "Clean hotel, modern, room was clean and beds were firm but comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Lots of options at breakfast, was pleased about that! Pool was very warm, sand at bottom near the deeper end - could use a cleaning! Also, found a cheerio on the floor in our room so a little more detail when vacuuming would be good! Overall pleased with our stay, would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again in the future."
