"needed a well needed rest after a busy year.After a long search of hotels around york we found this beautiful cottage just outside york,and needless to say it was just what we needed.lovely cottaged estate.we booked the 3 bedroomed cottage,fairview i think it was called.beautiful inside and out.no expense spared on the inside,very relaxing.we are already thinking about booking next year.would highly recommend."

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. "Excellent experience staying in this house! Great, quiet location and easy to access. The house itself is beautifully decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. It was extremely clean and well-organised with lots of different amenities provided. The kitchen is very well-equipped with various utensils and appliances. I also appreciated the selection of books and DVDs in the living room which come in handy on a rainy afternoon. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay!"

"Second time here and just as good as the first, very good condition, extremely comfortable room and bed and rear facing bedroom is quiet. Breakfast was OK but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel couldnt be located in a better position for access to the town and plenty of on-site parking."
