"We stayed for two nights at Drift House in Port Fairy and had a somewhat mixed experience. The accommodation itself is absolutely stunning — beautifully designed, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. It really feels like a special place to stay. "The hotel was centrally, located very close to everything within walking distance. The room was on the smaller side and the finishing a little bit dated. Otherwise pretty much functional and suitable for a one night stay. there was plenty of parking. "

"Everything was clean & accomodating staff. I particularly liked the bushy surrounds and access to the beach. For food you'll need to go to Portland and take a container to fill with drinking water for a drink and if you want a cuppa when you arrive. I used the tourist information brochure to plan my sightseeing for the next day. I would go again on my way to or from Adelaide. "

"I wanted to leave a positive review as I felt the manager genuinely tries their best. There's a total lack of privacy between the bedroom and bathroom. You would want to be in a very confident and comfortable partnership to share this room. There's literally NO privacy at all. The bed is only a double which is a let down, especially with the $400 a night price tag. Breakfast is off site but quire good. "
