This is a very nice hotel located perfectly and centrally to restaurants, arts offerings, cathedrals and churches and shopping. The staff was terrific. They spoke English very well, but what I liked was their patience with letting me speak my French because I wanted to keep improving my French. Sometimes staff and merchants will switch to English, not out of being offended by the imperfection of ones use of their language, but out of a sense of being helpful and/or efficient and clarity of communication.
The staff was also very helpful in arranging cabs, recommending restaurant areas, etc.
The hotel room was very comfortable, including easily controlled temperature levels, and clean. The cleanliness and orderliness of the room was kept that way daily by the friendly housekeeping service.
One small thing: hallway carpets seemed a bit stained in place, as if there had been a water leak, but the carpets were clean.
I would absolutely recommend this property. I even liked its funky modern decor of the lobby.
