"We were there in between the summer and winter seasons, so most restaurants and shops were closed. If they were open, this would be a happening place. We enjoyed the quiet, but options were slim. The outdoor spa is lovely, but it is quite noisy, so not very relaxing."

"Excellent stay, they upgraded my single room to double and let me check in early when I arrived at noon. The staff is excellent, everyone at the property would say hello. The spa was wonderful. The breakfast was great. Honestly enjoyed the stay throughly. I stayed in late November solo female, highly recommend for a staycation. "

"Mountain View’s from the room were amazing. The facilities in the spa were some of the best we’ve used in any hotel. Great food selection at breakfast. Staff were ultra accommodating and very helpful. Location is absolutely brilliant, right in the centre of Grindelwald. "

"The staff here was super helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is great- surrounded by mountains even if we didn’t technically have a mountain facing room. The building itself is beautiful. Walking around the first floor, you see lots of lovely common spaces. It feels very grand and fancy. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in Wengen again."
