"We loved our stay at Elsa's inn. The breakfast was amazing and we learned so much about the history of the area from the host. Location was unbeatable. We went to a nearby lookout to watch the sunrise and it was stunning and not crowded like the places right by Bar Harbor. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip around Maine!"

"Great, helpful and friendly staff!!! Great price and location. Only issues were very minor, and any issues that were addressable were immediately remedied. We were also aware before arriving that the pool is no longer available, although it is not physically removed as of yet. Note that it is a slightly older hotel, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room, since there is no elevator to the second floor. There is a small cafe room serving (in the morning) free...

"This is the best Best Western we've stayed in. We had the family suite and it was spacious. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. By far, the most impressive feature of this hotel are the staff. Due to my mistake, we had to transfer to another room for one night. The staff were so helpful in getting us into the room quickly. "This is a lovely place to stay on MDI. The staff is friendly, everything was clean and comfortable. The restaurant being right next door was a bonus!!"

"The room was large and the view from the top floor could not be beat. Having a balcony to sit on and enjoy the spectacular view was special. The hotel was convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was nice that the free bus came directly to the hotel for pickup so one didn't have to deal with finding and paying for parking in Bar Harbor. The staff was friendly and we appreciated having a free breakfast each morning."

"Pool closed for cleaning all day. Breakfast was a bit crazy you need to submit an order by 1900 the night before and the were out of many things like eggs and OJ. The rooms are small but cozy. Good location."

"A best place for my budget, and I stayed one night, and the location is perfect. the hotels inner city are so expensive in the season, and this place was best for me and my dog. The staff are the best and so kind. I had an issue of reserving a room which I reseved a non-pet room by accident, but the staff simply helped me to allow my dog to stay. LOVE~"
