"I felt fortunate to stay at the Triggerfish B&B. After a very long travel day from US with delayed flights, missed water taxi and sold out flights to ambergris caye, i found this B&B gem approx 7-9 mins from airport. The place was immaculate and located on a canal with lots of birds. The hosts, Cathy and Dan, are wonderful people. Cathyโs hospitality is top notch as well as her cooking. Tip: black bean chipotle burger for dinner and fry jacks for breakfastโฆ.mmmmmm. The room is very comfortable, chills down nicely with AC and a great shower. The screened porch is nice to hang out on in the evening. I highly recommend the Triggerfish. And I felt safe as a female solo traveler."

The room was clean, cozy, and a good spot to relax after being out for the day running around. The staff was friendly and helpful. "This is a beautiful spot close to the airport. It has tons of potential but is in need of maintenance. We enjoyed the breakfast and lobby. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome."

"If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. "

"The place was clean but the photos are showing 2 places. The beds were confortable. The bedroom were not insonorated like it was written so we could ear lots of neighborhood dogs barking at night. Overall the place had everything we needed to visit that local part of Belize."
