Convenient modern apartments in central Berlin
These apartments were in a great location near Alexanderplatz. We were on the 5th floor with our window and balcony facing towards the courtyard which was perfect, no noise. Room was well heated, clean, bright, modern. Had everything you would need. Maybe an extra towel would have been nice but was fine. Bath was nice and big, good water pressure, warm water. Cant say anything bad.

Despite reporting there was no soap in the dispenser, also the bathroom door was jammed.There was roaring very high decibel noise of trams whole night which led to disturbed sleep.

The location is great, close to public transportation. Which also meant the tram line goes around the property, which can be rather loud. The apartment is as shown on pics. I was rather concerned with the negative reviews but experienced none of the general complaints myself. I also requested for an extension at midnight on NYE and received prompt response and instructions to proceed with extending my stay!

Good position/Possiblity of cooking and washing clothes in the property. I didnt like the following facts: By arrival was no toillette paper there. We had to ask for some or propably we had been expected to go out and buy some. First bed sheet had a cigarette hole. Room wasnt cleaned properly. The kitchen was never cleaned. Wall behing the cooking area very dirty propably was never cleaned ( photo available) Cleaning staff was coming only once a week to clean the room and we had the same bed sheet for 14 days and allthough according the information sheet in the room they were supposed to come a second time in the week to clean they didnt. I was told that the information sheet was old and neednt to be replaced. Then why was in the room anyway? Room was very noisy and warm. I told the reception and they said house was full and we had to stay there till the end. But in the elevator was an adverisment for a discount on the room prices. Propably not well occuppied thats why the offer? The male receptionist was rude , not willing to help the situation with the noise at all. House keeper was also unfriendly. House works regurarly with clients based on month basis who propably work near the area. Management has to consider that guests booking for 16 days or less can not be treated as those who are staying longer but as those we want to spend a little time as locals but do not want to buy brooms and mops to keep room properly cleaned.

It was the worst place i have ever stayed. Room was not cleaned when we checked in - had to wait 4 hours before it was cleaned and there was a lot of noice from traffic and just bad beds to sleep in. No bathtup as picture showed at Hotel.com. Would not recommend anyone to stay there.

There is no air conditioning or amenities at this place. Asked for fans prior to my arrival and got nothing! The apartment was loud and very hot! When reaching out to staff, they said the fan maybe provided tomorrow. Ended up throwing away my booking and had to find another place to stay during the heatwave.

Great place to stay
Comfortable, in a great location, and good facilities. The only drawback is that the rooms facing the courtyard are a little noisy because the courtyard acts like an echo chamber.

Location was excellent, great position to get around from.. no air conditioning in the room, on 3 hot nights the apartment was hot and sticky even with a provided fan. No washing up utensils, no washing liquid, cloth or drying towel, very noisy into the night with passing trams and emergency services

The apartment was in quite good condition and very comfortable. I had no issues with noise like some other reviewers. I found if you shut the windows you cannot hear the road noise at all. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Room was good. A very noisy location I had to sleep with the window open as it was so hot. Getting help was very poor. The kettle did not work on the first night. I had to email and got a reply on Tuesday morning. They replaced the kettle on Tuesday before I returned to the room. Tuesday the second night the power to all sockets failed. Again there was no way to contact anyone. I had no kettle fridge or cooking facilities. No fan and no TV. Fortunately the lights worked. I emailed twice and eventually got an answer at lunchtime Wednesday that to power was back on. I had to throw my food away away I would not be sure of the condition after the fridge was off.

Great location although right on the main road so it can be very noisy if you leave the window open. The room was perfect sooo nice, but there is no air con so it can get hot but there is a fan. However the service there is terrible they are reluctant to let u check in early even if the room is ready. The people working at the office have a bad attitude and seem like they hate their job. No help provided if you need help better to go round the corner to hotel indigo reception.

A total disappointment
This place was a total disappointment. From the start, when the front desk informed us they close at 6pm and we would not be able to pick up a card for parking garage until 9am next morning, to realization that there are no lightbulbs in lamps in bedrooms, to hint of sewer smell throughout our stay. Thankfully we stayed only two nights, and minimized our time in the apartment as much as we could. I can think of two positives for this place - decent location (under 10 min walk to Alexanderplatz) and three separate (but tiny) sleeping areas, which made bed time for our kids easier. Overall though, the place is a dump, I will never stay there again, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Great location, it’s in the center of Berlin, and it’s very clean. It’s really affordable as well Just make sure you let the guests know the access code opens both the front gate for the building and the apartment. It was confusing a bit at first. Maybe provide shampoo and body wash

Super location.
Perfect location with Alexander Platz, TV tower, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Some noise from the tram (we stayed on the 1st floor). Would be happy to stay there again another time.

Shambolic!
Our experience at Vision Apartment in Berlin was shambolic! I am sure you would agree that a fundamental part of paying for an apartment, is to be able to have access. We arrived at 3am on the morning of the 12th Jan, but the entry code did not work. After 20 attempts m, it was apparent that there was something wrong. Over 30 minutes in the cold, we attempted to call the apartment using their emergency number, only to then receive a 'we are closed' voicemail message. 40 minutes in the cold, in a foreign country with no place to stay, despite paying a considerable amount of money! What was meant to be a happy start to my partner’s birthday weekend, soon descended into despair. Luckily someone in the apartment came out, it was only then that we could enter the apartment building. The following day we noticed a tenant putting tissue paper between the door to keep it ajar. He said that VA was made aware that this was broken for over a week. When we returned, we noticed that they were 5 couples waiting outside the building. The door was broken and no one could get into their apartment. After gaining entrance, we called their CS and they suggested putting something between the door to keep it ajar. NO ACESS to our room for the duration of our stay, always at the mercy of someone exiting the building- but they can fix the door in 3 days time, the morning we checked out! Brilliant?!!
