"Due to a door handle malfunction, I was upgraded to a larger, better room, all handled without a fuss. Nice bathroom with good hot water. Excellent included breakfast buffet. Good patronage as hall's were quiet. The room faced the street (relatively quiet) but had both the early sun rise and the nighttime illuminated Hotel sign slipping through the too small blackout curtains si in late July, the sun rose before 5am and set 10pm (when the sign came on.)"

"Staff responded quickly on phone a solved check-in issue smoothly (hotels.com had not forwarded my phone nr, so key code could not be sent). Spacious room with all amenities needed, however room cleaning could be better. Free parking outside hotel much appreciated! Breakfast staff very helpful, but breakfast routines could improve (out meal but no milk, no lactose free alternatives). Everything served was however fresh and nicely presented. We will absolutely stay here again and love that new owners have taken on the challenge to do something great with this impressive building!"

"The breakfast is amazing for a hotel at this price. Delicious and so many choices. Very accessible for those who want to be lacto or gluten free too. The breakfast area has been recently refurbished and is lovely and welcoming. My companion lost their wallet during our stay and the hotel staff were so helpful and were actually able to locate and get the wallet returned. Would not recommend losing your property, but they hotel staff really saved us on this trip. Thank you Elite City Hotel ❤️"
