"Fantastic stay great room on floor 6 looking over the front of hotel, breakfast brilliant and great food in the restaurant for lunch and dinner very reasonably priced. Staff brilliant, friendly and helpful looking forward to staying there again Great position to bus and train station 2 mins walk away. Only 9 mins to Amsterdam train was just fab!"

"Ideal for a visit to the area, lovely location and staff. No restaurant in the evening but they have frozen meals you can buy - unfortunately they don't advertise this on their website and info so we had no idea it was an option on our late arrival which would have been really useful to know and avoided some stress around finding food."

"I stayed here for a week and I loved my time here! Genuinely wish I didn’t have to leave. You’re at Amsterdam Centra station within 15 minutes!!! Great location and amenities! The hotel was slightly confusing to get to at first, as you think you should head left when exiting the train station as that’s where it looks like more hotels are, but really you turn right and head towards an elevator, stairs & escalator! Head towards the bike parking garage if you’re confused!! Once you make it there you’ll see the hotel and walk down making your way thru a small park. Having a grocery store right across was so helpful and handy, as I enjoyed grabbing snacks and drinks to have in the very handy room fridge!!! The room had AC which was perfect for the heatwave happening. The tv was perfect. Shower was lovely and so were the shampoo & conditioner. Room cleaning was on the 3rd day and it was so nice to not have to worry about someone cleaning every day! Location was perfect, so easy to run up to the train and catch a train within minutes. Staff were so nice and helped me find my room and fix my keycards for me when they stopped one night. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!! Can’t wait to come back to Zaandam and the Zaan Hotel!!!"

"We loved this hotel - from the gorgeous, moody decor, to the delicious breakfasts, to the friendly and helpful staff. We traveled with our two young kids and were treated kindly by everyone despite the noise they sometimes made. We were sad to leave and would love to stay here again!"

"This wobderful hotel is very well located right in the centre of Haarlem, close to restaurants, shops and the canal. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and pleasant. Our room was large, we'll appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The only slight issue was with the air-conditioning (or climate control as one of the staff explained) which was unable to keep the room at a comfortable temperature during the hotish spell (25C) during our visit. The staff offered us a large fan which did something to alleviate the heat but we found it too noisy to leave on at night. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay there again but possibly when the weather is a bit cooler!"
