"This hotel was recommended due to its proximity to the UKZN main campus. This is relative as the hills of Durban and distances mean walking is a no-no. The hotel is comfortable and clean, just note the lower-priced rooms overlook an outdoor common open space. Also, there is no real logic to the placement of light switches. It took me 10 minutes to turn off the lights in the room, as some stitches are in the strangest of places. The staff are pleasant and courteous."
